About the role

  • Build growth foundations from the ground up: Establish frameworks, processes, and systems that will support a future full-time growth team
  • Develop and execute growth strategy: Create and implement tactical plans across acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue—then execute them yourself
  • Hands-on campaign execution: Design, launch, and optimize growth campaigns across multiple channels (not just planning, but doing)
  • Set up measurement infrastructure: Implement analytics, tracking, and reporting systems to measure growth performance
  • Run rapid experiments: Design, execute, and analyze growth tests to identify what works in our professional services/IT market
  • Create scalable playbooks: Document successful tactics, processes, and learnings for the future growth team
  • Partner cross-functionally: Work directly with product, sales, and marketing to align growth initiatives (rolling up sleeves to collaborate, not just delegate)
  • Optimize existing channels: Audit and improve current marketing and growth efforts with hands-on optimization work
  • Prepare for full-time hire: Build the roadmap, systems, and documentation that will enable a permanent Head of Growth to hit the ground running

Requirements

  • Professional services/agency/IT experience (required): Deep understanding of growth dynamics in B2B professional services, agency, or IT sectors
  • Hands-on execution skills: You're a doer, not just a strategist. You can execute campaigns, write copy, analyze data, and optimize funnels yourself
  • Strategic thinking ability: While hands-on, you also think strategically about what to build and why, with an eye toward long-term scalability
  • Builder mentality: Experience creating growth systems, processes, and infrastructure from scratch
  • Proven growth experience: 5+ years driving growth with demonstrated results, including senior-level strategic work
  • Self-sufficient operator: Can work independently with minimal oversight, making smart decisions and prioritizing effectively
  • Data-driven approach: Comfortable with analytics, metrics, and using data to inform both strategy and tactical decisions
  • Growth toolkit expertise: Proficient with growth frameworks, experimentation methods, and modern marketing/growth tools
  • Documentation mindset: Creates clear processes and playbooks that others can follow
  • Excellent communicator: Can articulate strategy and rally stakeholders, even in a part-time capacity
  • EU-based (required): Must be based in the EU with ability to travel to Vienna, Austria for occasional on-site meetings
