Business Development Executive driving institutional sales and client acquisition for trading services in Dubai. Leading business development in equity, futures, options, and prime brokerage.
Responsibilities
Business Development Management role to drive revenue from exchange and OTC products and associated technology as well as taking ownership of the Group’s institutional prime brokerage offering from a client facing perspective, including profiling, technical business development responsibility and management of the Group’s client facing analytics offering.
Drive new business opportunities across DMA, exchange-traded products, and derivative markets.
Promote and sell solutions across asset classes: Equities (cash & derivatives), Futures & options, Bonds and fixed income instruments, Synthetic/OTC equity derivatives (e.g., single stock CFDs, baskets).
Develop and execute tailored pitches for our ideal client segments: Emerging fund managers (hedge funds, systematic funds, multi-strategy firms), Traditional asset managers and long-only institutions, Proprietary trading firms & professional trading groups, Futures and options traders, Family offices with sophisticated trading mandates, Prime of primes, regional brokers, and introducing brokers seeking institutional-grade DMA access, Wealth managers and private banks offering execution services to UHNW clients.
Contribute to Scope Prime’s institutional product strategy, planning, development, marketing and delivery pipeline where appropriate.
Maintain personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role, including all relevant regulatory and legislative training.
When dealing with all customers, clients or colleagues ensure that we provide a clear, fair and consistent high-quality service that presents a professional and positive image of Scope Prime.
Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality.
Meeting KPIs and exceeding revenue targets on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Contributing to trading volume and PnL increase.
Requirements
5+ years in institutional business development, electronic trading or prime brokerage services.
Deep knowledge of DMA infrastructure, trading platforms, and exchange workflows.
Established client network with fund managers, prop traders, and asset allocators.
Experience with managing clients who trade utilising Bloomberg EMSX and the IRESS Suite (Pro/ViewPoint).
Experience with dealing with clients who trade Exchange traded and OTC products and ideally knowledge of major exchanges like ICE, CME and platform vendors such as CQG and TT.
Experience in relationship management and client retention.
Language skills would be highly beneficial but not essential for a suitable candidate.
Business Development Management experience preferred or a demonstrable ability to work to business development performance targets.
Knowledge of other asset classes is also preferable.
A strong knowledge of market technology and connectivity protocols.
Commercially and strategically minded with a strong focus on revenue generation.
An essential ability to build solid working relationships with key stakeholders both internal and externally.
