About the role

  • Partner with People Leaders: Support our teams with employee relations, performance management, and coaching conversations that align with our values and business priorities.
  • Drive Operational Rigor: Manage and support tactical HR processes such as annual performance reviews, engagement surveys, and employee check-ins.
  • Lead and support employee culture programs such as ERGs, engagement initiatives, and company-wide announcements that foster belonging and reinforce Kajabi’s values.
  • Document employee separations and exit conversations with clarity, empathy, and compliance.
  • Own the Follow-Through: Track action items from employee conversations, investigations, or manager coaching sessions to ensure next steps happen on time.
  • Collaborate Across People Ops: Coordinate with Total Rewards, Legal, and Talent teams to ensure alignment on compensation, benefits, and compliance topics.
  • Spot Risks Early: Raise concerns proactively and help leaders think through decisions that balance empathy, accountability, and business risk.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of progressive HR experience, including hands-on employee relations and performance coaching
  • Experience across core HR functions: compensation, benefits, policies, compliance, and employee engagement
  • Experience partnering with and advising business leaders and managers on employee engagement concerns and initiatives, helping translate feedback into actionable solutions
  • Proven ability to manage multiple HR cases and processes simultaneously with accuracy, follow-through, and attention to detail
  • Agility in a fast-moving environment, comfortable juggling competing business needs, pivoting quickly, and staying focused on outcomes even when priorities shift
  • Comfort with ambiguity at times, skilled at clarifying unclear requests, and shaping solutions that balance business needs with HR frameworks and compliance
  • Curiosity and hands-on interest in leveraging AI tools to streamline HR processes (such as performance calibrations, documentation, analytics) and continuously improve how we work
  • Clear, confident communication skills
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset, moving things forward without waiting for instructions
  • Familiarity with HR systems (HRIS, performance platforms, compliance systems) and the ability to use them to keep data clean, updated, and actionable
  • Passion for people, with emotional intelligence and a commitment to helping leaders and employees succeed
  • Experience in a SAAS organization with a remote/hybrid, fast-paced environment preferred
  • Experience working with offshore or global employee populations a plus.
