About the role

  • Provide daily support for the Workday platform
  • Ensure configuration, maintenance, and ongoing updates of the Workday Absences system
  • Collaborate with various teams to resolve technical issues related to the Workday Absences module
  • Provide ongoing support to address issues related to international absence configurations in Workday
  • Monitor Workday platform updates and enhancements and recommend improvements
  • Providing Workday Payroll support where possible is a plus
  • Create documentation for configuration, operational runbooks, and our HRIS
  • Write test scripts and perform functional and technical testing prior to production deployment
  • Translate business HR requirements into configuration changes and system enhancements
  • Manage and resolve incidents via the ticketing system

Requirements

  • Proven experience using Workday in a similar role
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills for issues related to the Absences module; knowledge and hands-on experience with technical configuration and anticipating potential impacts
  • Good listening and communication skills; patience required to support change management efforts
  • Rigour and strong organizational skills
