Ensure configuration, maintenance, and ongoing updates of the Workday Absences system
Collaborate with various teams to resolve technical issues related to the Workday Absences module
Provide ongoing support to address issues related to international absence configurations in Workday
Monitor Workday platform updates and enhancements and recommend improvements
Providing Workday Payroll support where possible is a plus
Create documentation for configuration, operational runbooks, and our HRIS
Write test scripts and perform functional and technical testing prior to production deployment
Translate business HR requirements into configuration changes and system enhancements
Manage and resolve incidents via the ticketing system
Requirements
Proven experience using Workday in a similar role
Strong analytical and synthesis skills for issues related to the Absences module; knowledge and hands-on experience with technical configuration and anticipating potential impacts
Good listening and communication skills; patience required to support change management efforts
