About the role

  • HR Operations Specialist at Card Kingdom managing payroll and employee leave programs. Ensuring compliance with company policies while delivering high-quality service to employees and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • The HR Operations Specialist supports the Payroll & Benefits Manager in administering employee leave programs, unemployment claims, job accommodations, HRIS reporting and providing backup support for payroll processing.
  • This role ensures compliance with federal, state and company policies while delivering a high level of service to employees and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage all types of employee leaves (FMLA, ADA, personal, medical, etc.).
  • Respond to unemployment claims and coordinate with state agencies.
  • Facilitate the interactive process for ADA accommodations.
  • Serve as backup for payroll processing during absences or peak periods.
  • Manage OSHA reporting and ensure compliance with federal and state safety regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain HR reports relative to leave, safety and compliance.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, payroll, leaves and compliance.
  • Familiarity of FMLA, ADA, OSHA and unemployment regulations.
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (ADP Workforce Now)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong commitment to personal development, learning and continuous improvement within HR and professionally.
