Responsibilities
Lead the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process for student and intern employees.
Partner with managers to align workforce needs with organizational goals.
Maintain accurate employee data and records to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Support full-time hiring as needed through interview coordination and candidate communication.
Mentor and develop a team of student HR Assistants through regular one-on-one meetings and training.
Advise managers and employees on HR policies and best practices.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture.
Support employee development and performance management processes.
Contribute to HR projects that enhance communication, engagement, and growth.
Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, including those governing student employment and visa requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
2–4 years of HR experience (professional or internship).
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
A willingness to reside within commuting distance of Salt Lake City, Utah, and work on-site at least three days per week.
Fluent in English.
Fluent in a language other than English, including Spanish and/or Portuguese; additional languages are a plus.
Experience in an international or multicultural work environment.
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar) or progress toward certification.
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
