HR Business Partner supporting personnel matters in a document management company, advising leaders and driving HR processes while leading a team in Hamburg.
Responsibilities
Advise and support the managers of an assigned business unit on all employment law and HR matters (including workforce planning, organizational contract changes, compensation, and company reintegration management)
Manage, design and take responsibility for all HR processes, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and company regulations
Work closely with assigned works councils and design and implement works agreements
Lead an HR team: recruitment/selection, feedback, development, productivity, personnel deployment, etc.
Ensure high-quality HR services through continuous monitoring, optimization and further development of existing processes
Prepare for internal and external audits, including financial audits, and act as the primary contact for auditors
Support impatriate employees and accompany transfer processes
Requirements
University degree or completed commercial vocational training (e.g., HR clerk) with relevant further HR qualifications (e.g., certified HR specialist)
Several years of solid professional experience in HR
Proven experience advising managers and practical know-how in balancing operational day-to-day activities with strategic HR work
Experience in functional or disciplinary team leadership and ability to develop and motivate employees
Experience supporting HR audits and a strong understanding of compliance and process documentation
Knowledge of residence and work permit law; specific experience hiring employees from third countries is desirable but not required
Business-fluent German and good English skills
