About the role

  • HR Intern supporting the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, and process improvement. Join Pembina Institute's Human Resources team for a hands-on 16-week hybrid internship.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain HR records, templates, and documentation to support day-to-day HR operations
  • Update and enhance HR resources, including guides, templates, and internal documentation
  • Support special projects and data initiatives, including HR trackers, reports, and dashboards
  • Coordinate logistics for HR initiatives, training sessions, and employee experience activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to advance HR programs and initiatives

Requirements

  • Student enrolled in human resources, business, commerce, psychology, organizational development, or related field of study at an accredited Canadian post-secondary institution
  • Eager to learn and highly organized
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; being self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Detail-oriented with a high standard for accuracy and quality
  • Adaptable and able to manage changing priorities
  • Professional and approachable with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
