About the role

  • Lead and execute the people and culture strategy, reporting directly to the COO.
  • Develop and implement a holistic people strategy supporting the company’s mission, cultural values, and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the COO and leadership on organisational design, talent management, and culture.
  • Design and implement leadership development initiatives and programmes.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the People team to deliver exceptional service across all functions.
  • Oversee end-to-end talent acquisition, onboarding, development, and retention programmes.
  • Drive succession planning and build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Foster a positive culture of high performance, inclusion and employee engagement; champion DE&I initiatives.
  • Develop strategies to measure and enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Oversee HR policies, procedures, compliance programmes, reward, compensation and benefits structures.
  • Leverage HR/people analytics to provide insights on workforce trends, productivity and engagement to inform decision making.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR leadership experience, including strategic planning, talent management, and employee engagement, preferably in a fast-paced or growth-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; CIPD Level 5 or higher preferred.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
  • Expertise in HR best practices, strategic planning, organisational design, workforce development and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Ensures HR practices comply with employment law, governance standards and industry regulations.
  • Aligns people strategy with business goals, regulatory requirements and future workforce needs.
  • Builds credibility and trust with leadership and employees; acts as a trusted advisor.
  • Builds trust, empathy, and psychological safety while balancing business demands.
  • Skilled in using HR systems and analytics to drive informed decision-making.
  • Growth-oriented and adaptable mindset; proactive, can-do attitude; strong commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
