Responsible for initiating, engaging and maintaining contact with the injured/absent employees on a regular basis.
Provide support to employee’s leader and HR regarding claims management, disability, accommodation and the Attendance Awareness and Support Program.
Interpret and educate leaders on regulatory and compliance requirements for case management practices.
Develop sustainable return to work plans and conduct effective return to work meetings.
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in disability and WSIB claims management.
Post-secondary degree in the health sector.
Must meet the eligibility requirements to become certified with the Canadian Society of Professionals in Disability Management as a Certified Disability Management Professional (CDMP) and/or Certified Return to Work Coordinator (CRTWC) within 1 year or be a CDMP or CRTWC in good standing.
Strong decision making and problem solving skills.
