About the role

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, suppliers and internal teams through regular interactions.
  • Identify client needs, develop tailored solutions and contribute to Key Account Management Plans and Opportunity Capture Plans to drive growth.
  • Evaluate business opportunities for strategic fit, lead proposal development and present compelling business cases to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure proposals reflect capabilities and align with client expectations.
  • Work as part of a global, growth-focused team.
  • Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts, proposal managers and Operations to ensure seamless proposal execution and transition to project delivery teams.
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance value propositions and strengthen proposals.
  • Own growth targets and use CRM to track opportunity pipeline. Demonstrate strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and execution skills with high integrity and entrepreneurial drive.

Requirements

  • A university degree in Engineering
  • An advanced degree, preferably MBA or Masters in Metallurgical, Chemical or Mineral Processing Engineering
  • Minimum 15 years metallurgical and/or mineral processing industry experience with a proven track record in building strategic client relationships in targeted US markets (Nevada, Arizona and Utah) and achieving growth targets
  • Experience in US and international metallurgy and mineral processing sectors with a focus on US Southwest region
  • A network of senior contacts in the United States (Nevada and Arizona) and global mining and metallurgy industry and experience interacting with clients at all levels
  • Experience in working in a team environment and managing large business opportunities from identification of prospects through to closing in both structured and unstructured client environments
  • An advanced understanding of the theory and practical applications of some or all of the following fields: mineral processing, pyrometallurgy and hydrometallurgy
  • Knowledge of the design, management and operational of the plants associated with the abovementioned fields
  • Ability to identify client opportunities that fit with our service offering and an ability to translate these client needs into compelling business proposals
  • Outstanding oral, written and interpersonal skills including presentations to senior and executive level clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Ability to travel as required – travel can comprise up to 50% of the time, primarily within United States
  • Fluency in English, Spanish and other languages would be an asset.
