About the role

  • Develop and implement HR strategy for the Technology Center, supporting the goals and growth objectives of the TWDC Technology Center
  • Serve as partner and trusted adviser to the Technology Center Leadership Team and other senior leaders in India
  • Develop, implement and integrate all human resource policies and programs
  • Hire and develop team members in key human resources areas: Talent Acquisition, Organization & Talent Solutions, HR Business Partners, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations and HR Operations
  • Lead people initiatives involving significant complexity, including consulting, coaching and influencing senior executives and leading complex change management projects
  • Manage and lead the HR organization in India to include HR development and keep the team highly engaged
  • Partner closely with the VP, HR (APAC), APAC COEs and Segment HR to deploy global and regional HR strategies locally
  • Maintain and implement compelling and engaging compensation and benefits programs
  • Drive talent attraction and engagement and oversee employer brand marketing campaigns
  • Oversee local Global HR Operations team and ensure practices aligned to local needs
  • Manage headcount reporting and Cast Member Relations budget across India, and headcount processes during AOP and LRP
  • Ensure TWDC employment systems, policies and processes are compliant with all local Employment legislation, awards and laws
  • Monitor employment law changes and work with legal partners on policy and process reviews
  • Drive employee engagement through Cast Member engagement programs and leverage survey feedback
  • Lead crisis management planning and provide on the ground crisis management/care team support for India

Requirements

  • 12 + Years of HR leadership role in a dynamic, multi-national and matrixed environment
  • Experience in a Technology company based in India is preferred
  • Track record of successfully implementing and managing best practice HR strategy, processes and systems
  • Strong knowledge and experience with HR Business Partner (generalist), Talent Acquisition/Planning, Learning and Development, Employee Relations, Organizational Development, Change Management, and Diversity & Inclusion functions
  • Broad business and financial understanding and the ability to apply to human capital implications
  • Ability to think strategically, synthesize complex business/financial data and develop innovative and holistic HR solutions
  • Resilience to work within a complex organization and find creative solutions
  • Willingness to work and integrate with multiple partners and manage simultaneous priorities
  • Strong executive consulting and client relationship skills
  • Proven collaboration skills with the ability to gain consensus through personal influence
  • Proven ability to manage conflict and the courage to challenge organizational thinking
  • Demonstrated ability to invite diverse perspectives, and promote an inclusive work environment
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources/ Employment Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience gained within an international, matrixed organization)
  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources/ Employment Relations (or related field), highly regarded
