About the role

  • Business Development Manager supporting Regulatory and Investigations Practices at King & Spalding. Collaborating on initiatives and special projects with legal marketing teams.

Responsibilities

  • support the Directors of Business Development in implementing new initiatives
  • conduct strategic research on potential clients, competitors, and practice developments
  • coordinate firm-hosted business development events
  • monitor the budget and provide support as needed
  • draft and oversee project plans with clearly defined deliverables
  • support process-oriented projects for the firm’s systems

Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in a business development or marketing role
  • excellent project management skills
  • well-developed Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • proficient in contact relationship management databases such as Microsoft Dynamics
  • flexible, forward-thinking, proactive, energetic and detail-oriented team player
  • professional and approachable demeanor
  • superior presentation, writing, and verbal communication skills
