About the role

  • Prospect and sell Brand Standards services to targeted national accounts in industries including restaurant, hospitality, and food service establishments
  • Role is approximately 90% new business development and 10% account management across restaurants, hospitality, grocery, and retail
  • Generate market growth in assigned vertical market segments and demonstrate proven sales abilities with larger, complex multi-location accounts
  • Participate in a rigorous training and development program prior to full selling responsibilities
  • Prospect for new clients to sell programs designed to mitigate food safety risk and improve customer experience
  • Research, analyze, and canvass the market for prospective clients; develop, maintain, and use prospect tracking systems
  • Contact prospects and conduct meetings to promote Steritech and the services provided
  • Design, price, and generate proposals for service programs to generate market growth
  • Maintain involvement in targeted associations and trade organizations to remain current with industry trends
  • Document all sales and sales activity to ensure accuracy in accounting and customer information
  • Position is based from home but requires overnight travel and proximity to a major airport

Requirements

  • Minimum four years’ experience in an outside sales role
  • National sales experience is preferred
  • Proven and verifiable track record in sales and customer service
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office tools, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Google Slides, G Suite
  • Experience in the Services industry is a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication, as well as excellent presentation skills
  • The ability to develop and maintain client relationships
  • Excellent hunting skills
  • Consultative selling skills: ability to listen, understand clients' needs, and offer effective solutions
  • The discipline to be self-managed with a burning desire to succeed
  • Ability to travel
  • The individual must live near a major airport
  • This position is based from home and will require overnight travel.
