About the role

  • Generate meetings with prospective clients by being creative and not relying solely on outbound emails or cold Linkedin approaches.
  • Attend events and conferences across the world becoming the face of Protect Group in your market.
  • Pitch by video call, and in person, before developing proposals with the finance team that meet client needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Work towards a set of half yearly OKRs.
  • Submit regular progress reports and sales forecasts, ensuring these are achieved.
  • Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within Protect Group’s CRM.

Requirements

  • MUST have more than 7 years of experience in Business Development in the Travel space.
  • Ideally also have a wealth some level of industry-related sales experience in either Ticketing, Travel, Accommodation or Transport
  • New business generation experience is vital
  • Experience in developing excellent relationships and demonstrating strong networking skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Fluent English is a requirement of the role.
  • Enthusiastic, high degree of integrity, self-motivated, positive attitude, proactive approach to work, and a confident approach to closing business
  • Well organised with previous experience using CRM systems
  • No travel restrictions.
  • Must be able to work in the US without employer visa sponsorship
