About the role

  • Desk-Based Account Executive supporting the Account Management team with corporate client accounts. Ensuring high-quality service experience in the Specialist Waste Recycling team at Biffa.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to support service delivery and implement client initiatives.
  • Act as a key point of contact for client requests, data reporting, and operational escalations.
  • Support Account Managers with client retention, growth opportunities, and tender processes.
  • Oversee purchase order management and ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by monitoring service levels and promoting a client-first culture.
  • Produce regular and ad hoc reports, providing insight to support commercial and compliance functions

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering high-quality customer service in a corporate environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working across internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
  • Ability to interpret and report on client data, KPIs, and SLA performance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with Power BI is desirable.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks independently.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
  • Experience in the waste management or environmental services sector is desirable.
