About the role

  • Account Executive focusing on outbound pipeline generation for eCommerce businesses in North America. Collaborating with teams to deliver solutions and exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • You'll prospect, qualify and close new opportunities with eCommerce businesses in North America.
  • Work with some of the most exciting growing consumer brands on the market.
  • Be an expert at sourcing your own leads that fit our ICP, alongside your dedicated BDR.
  • Conduct in-depth discoveries with prospects using Solution Sales & MEDDIC methodologies.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders across Wayflyer, working closely with our underwriting team, with a focus on speed and quality.
  • Act as a co-founder to our customers, ensuring negotiations are valuable for both parties.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets in a fast paced, high volume sales environment.
  • You'll be joining a high performing team, with top performers achieving 200-300% of their target!

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience as a quota-carrying Account Executive, with a strong emphasis on outbound-led pipeline generation.
  • Proven experience running sales cycles of varying complexity, from shorter transactional cycles to longer, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Strong grasp of commercial and financial concepts, with the ability to quickly understand and explain lending structures (e.g. cash flow, working capital, debt vs non-dilutive capital).
  • A consistent track record of exceeding targets, including success against ambitious growth goals.
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment, where processes are evolving and ownership is expected.
  • A demonstrable history of being a strong team player, contributing beyond individual quota (deal support, knowledge sharing, cross-functional collaboration).
  • Genuine interest in eCommerce and growth-stage businesses, with a passion for helping founders and finance leaders scale sustainably.
  • Familiarity with MEDDICC (or similar enterprise qualification frameworks) and a structured approach to deal qualification.
