About the role

  • (Senior) Account Manager developing relationships with energy sector clients. Focused on strategic growth and partnership in a consulting environment in Germany.

Responsibilities

  • You leverage our strong portfolio and value proposition to expand existing accounts and develop new customers.
  • You build long-term, partnership-based customer relationships, identify leads and opportunities, and capture customer requirements.
  • You identify and understand market trends and work with our team to develop successful market strategies.
  • You develop account strategies and implement them together with the team.
  • You manage complex proposal processes: from assessing requests and preparing proposals to leading negotiations and closing contracts.
  • You act as the interface between customers and internal departments.

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in management consulting or a comparable line role.
  • Strong knowledge of the energy sector, particularly regarding trends, challenges and developments.
  • Established network and customer relationships in the energy industry, preferably with decision-makers in IT and business.
  • Sales strength and relevant experience in account management and pre-sales/sales, particularly in preparing proposals.
  • Excellent communication skills and negotiation ability.
  • Enthusiasm for working with people and enjoyment of networking.
  • A successfully completed university degree.
