About the role

  • ServiceNow Developer ensuring ITSM platform development, process optimization, and governance for high-quality service delivery. Collaborating with technical and business areas for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Will serve as a Senior Developer/Analyst with responsibilities that combine development, process design and optimization, service support and availability, governance and metrics, as well as change facilitation and management.
  • Will interface with technical and business areas, and with vendors, to ensure efficiency, quality and continuous improvement.
  • ServiceNow core technical skills: Business Rules, Script Includes, GlideRecord, Client Scripts, UI Policies, ACLs, Roles, Dictionary, System Properties.
  • Automation: Flow Designer, Subflows, integration between Flow and Script, exception handling, and avoiding duplicate automation.
  • Service Catalog: complex Catalog Items, reusable Variable Sets, dynamic logic.
  • SLA and notifications: SLA Engine, calendars, events and conditional notifications.
  • Security: conditional ACLs.
  • Full custom and legacy environment: reading and understanding legacy code, refactoring, and debugging in critical environments.
  • Performance and stability: mindful use of GlideRecord and assessment of production impact.

Requirements

  • Practical development experience on ServiceNow with a focus on the ITSM module.
  • Experience working with CMDB/CSDM.
  • Ability to run workshops, facilitate working groups and communicate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Creation and maintenance of Knowledge Base (KB) articles.
  • Intermediate English (for interactions with global teams, vendors and documentation).
  • Desirable certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and CIS – ITSM (Implementation Specialist).
