Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day functional support for multiple ECP customers in a managed services environment
Analyze, configure, and test payroll changes (wage types, schemas, PCRs, tax configuration, off-cycle processing, retro rules)
Own escalated tickets requiring senior-level expertise and ensure timely resolution within SLA
Review recurring defects and recommend preventive configuration or process changes
Serve as a senior escalation point for AMS consultants during triage rotations
Guide ticket assignment, complexity evaluation, and root-cause analysis
Identify any configuration issues which would be best serviced via a project
Maintain high-quality documentation and ensure all solutions follow internal standards
Train and mentor junior support analysts
Help refine AMS processes, triage playbooks, and knowledge-base content
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the payroll BPO
Requirements
10+ years of SAP HCM Payroll or Employee Central Payroll experience
Strong understanding of USA payroll, schemas, PCRs, tax models, off-cycles, garnishments, and retro calculations
Experience supporting ECP in a multi-customer or BPO environment strongly preferred
Comfortable working across multiple systems, environments, and customers
Hands-on experience with transport management and payroll testing cycles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Able to simplify complex payroll issues for internal teams
Highly organized; able to prioritize multiple requests simultaneously
Customer-service mindset with a focus on stability and accuracy in payroll
