About the role

  • Senior Benefits Specialist managing leave of absence administration for EisnerAmper's HR team. Overseeing compliance and enhancing the colleague experience with leave and accommodation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day administration of FMLA, state and local leave programs
  • Serve as primary contact for employees requesting various leaves
  • Administer and track leave cases in Workday
  • Monitor payroll for colleagues on leave
  • Partner with third-party administrators on leave claims
  • Conduct training for HRBPs and managers on policies and processes
  • Manage the interactive process for colleague accommodation requests
  • Collaborate with Benefits team on broader administration tasks

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience focused on leave administration
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, state and local leave laws
  • Experience managing case workload
  • Proficiency with HRIT and leave systems (Workday preferred)
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated discretion and integrity
  • Professional certification(s) such as PHR, SHRM-CP, CEBS, or CPDM preferred
  • Experience working with multi-state organizations
