About the role

  • Business Development Manager responsible for growing sales in freight forwarding accounts. Engaging new clients, analyzing market trends, and achieving sales quotas in the logistics sector.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies new business opportunities through contact with prospective clients
  • Assists in the preparation of RFQ’s and bids
  • Builds a solid understanding of target customers/account base
  • Provides weekly and monthly performance metrics to sales administrator
  • Enters new customer data into Toll CRM

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
  • Minimum of two to five (2-5) years’ experience in Sales/Business Development
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Experience with Global Forwarding operations and market intelligence preferred
  • Strong communication skills
