About the role

  • Business Development Executive supporting the Senior Business Development Manager to drive business growth across the region. Involved in pitching to clients and executing online and offline events.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and follow up on new business opportunities to achieve international sales targets and support the company’s strategic plan
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential brand partners, and opportunities for growth within existing accounts.
  • Support the development and maintenance of a pipeline of potential business leads, using industry contacts, online research, and networking.
  • Assist in developing and executing data-driven business plans for weekly events, ensuring optimization of stock lists and sales performance across both offline and online channels.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, managing day-to-day communication.
  • Proactively follow up with brands to provide necessary information and updates.
  • Coordinate and follow up with brands with regards to agreements in a professional manner
  • Work closely with other departments, including marketing, operations, ecommerce, etc to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Responsible for sales recap, and any other type of reports that include event outcome, feedback, recommendation etc to improve for future collaboration and ensuring continuous improvement in client satisfaction.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Requirements

  • Min Diploma holder in Marketing, Business or equivalent
  • 2 years of working experience is preferred
  • Experience in Fashion / Cosmetics / FMCG / Department Store would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of the Retail industry, ideally with retail network
  • Excellent negotiation skills and eager to deliver results
  • Target driven and figure-oriented
  • Strategic thinking and enthusiastic problem solver, autonomous
  • Must be a self-starter, organized, clear communication and good teamwork mindset
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
  • Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Proficient in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
