About the role

  • Lead the Mexico HR Services & Benefits team for Hershey, focusing on employee benefits and compliance with legal regulations. Oversee HR data management and initiatives for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide the Mexico HR Services & Benefits team for Mexico
  • Ensure the maintenance and effective update of the employee information in the internal and external systems & portals for the company
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment & questions
  • Verify all insurance and external suppliers billing
  • Ensure compliance with required benefits notice
  • Operate as the subject matter expert and escalation point to resolve issues
  • Continuously look for improvements in operational processes
  • Design and implement initiatives as well as conduct prioritization exercises with team members
  • Supervise the compliance with current legal regulations for pay and benefits
  • Guarantee the correct execution of human resources administration processes
  • Oversee the correct management of HR data in our multiple systems
  • Audit, conciliate and administer payments to suppliers from deductions to employees for benefits
  • Supervise the Car allowance program and related benefits
  • Manage employee's questions about their benefits through the ASKRH platform
  • Communicate, manage, and administer benefits packages
  • Lead the organization of committee meetings
  • Actuarial calculation and reporting to assess financial impact for retirement plan
  • Organize health week, Benefits Fair and/or HR initiatives

Requirements

  • Processes of Benefits and Human Resources.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws.
  • HR Systems Administration (Success Factors / SAP / Service Now).
  • Knowledge in Mexican labor law (LFT), social security (IMSS), housing fund (FONACOT), and other labor law applicable in Mexico.
  • English proficiency (advance).
  • High level of integrity and ability to deal with confidential information.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, SuccessFactors and SAP.
  • Business and process knowledge and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Independently execute responsibilities incorporating proactive analytical thinking.
  • Strong customer service skills accompanied with excellent communication skills.
  • Analysis and problem solving.
