About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provides performance management consultation and recommendations
  • Crafts and negotiates solutions to situations that protect the reputation and assets of the organization
  • Represents TD Bank during mediation, trials, depositions, and negotiates effective solutions/settlements
  • Analyzes data and other information to identify trends to ensure employee issues are identified and addressed in a pro-active manner
  • Serves as a professional consultant to HR Business Partners, Recruitment Teams and HR Leadership/Managers offering research and investigative expertise

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or progressive work experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of HR or Legal experience with an emphasis in employee relations
  • PHR/SPHR Preferred
  • Demonstrated investigative, verbal, written, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated experience providing employee relations consulting to all levels of management
  • Demonstrated experience applying HR/ER policies, laws, and regulations in a corporate setting
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft desktop software necessary to prepare exhibits and documents
