About the role

  • Account Manager overseeing client relationships in the UKI business unit for an educational platform. Engaging clients and enhancing student recruitment efforts across the UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Working in the UKI business unit, managing the full cycle of the client journey. From the initial online student recruitment advice to working with campaign managers on implementation, monitoring and campaign optimization
  • Advising and liaising with existing clients – nurturing relationships and ensuring clients are happy and engaged with their activity to recruit talented students from abroad
  • Working with the analytics and consultancy team in creating opportunities, managing the relationship and securing resales
  • Proactively developing a base of new clients in the assigned markets, including online calls but also in-person business meetings with prospects and clients abroad and at conferences
  • Organising and participating in client meetings, Studyportals events and conferences
  • Involvement in the optimization of the complete commercial cycle; from lead generation, negotiating sales, relationship management and campaign evaluation
  • Supporting the team manager with the commercial strategy and approach of growth targets within the region across revenue streams

Requirements

  • Experience in working in a sales environment (within digital advertising and/or Higher Education is an advantage)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to quickly build rapport.
  • Confident in making calls with customers and prospects.
  • Ambitious, energetic and persistent, you are target oriented and have a drive for results
  • Notable analytical skills and strategic thinking; knowledge of Google Analytics is a plus
  • Confident in an environment of frequent and direct feedback
  • Native or neat native in English, both oral and written. (Level C2 of the common European Framework). (Dutch is not required)
  • Familiar with the journey of international students studying abroad.
  • Enjoys travelling
