About the role

  • Managing Director handling a book of business of 25–35 client relationships within the Retirement/401K industry. Developing relationships and ensuring service delivery at Fidelity with up to 35% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Develop positive relationships with institutional clients.
  • Build internal working relationships with Fidelity personnel in support of service delivery.
  • Act as the primary contact for the client in a team structure.
  • Lead, educate, and resolve client issues.
  • Establish relationships and meet the needs of both Plan Sponsors and Advisors.
  • Coordinate internal resources for analysis and recommendations on design alternatives.
  • Facilitate discussions with clients regarding legal, regulatory and design issues across the plan.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Relationship Management or Client Service experience; preferably within the Retirement/401K industry.
  • Acquire a Series 7 and 63 within the first 3-6 months of acquiring the position.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and time leadership skills and attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Effective presentation skills, influence and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working with Financial Advisors.
