About the role

  • Sr. Manager of Business Development driving partnerships for CPG brands at Shipt. Responsible for leading teams and negotiating agreements with CPG partners remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team and negotiate agreements on behalf of the company with CPG partners.
  • Forge partnerships that drive strong growth for manufacturers and their advertising partners.
  • Manage a team tasked to deliver on revenue targets for Shipt’s CPG accounts.
  • Identify, contact and establish relationships with new and existing partners and respective decision makers at CPG manufacturers, their respective advertising agencies and other emerging verticals.
  • Negotiate and manage master services agreements that enable robust CPG partnerships to tap into the potential of Shipt's marketplace and respective members.
  • Develop insights-led sales partner meetings to convey the value of partnering together to reach members in each step of the Shipt marketplace experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Shipt teams to maximize partnership capabilities in the pre-sale process.
  • Work with direct reports on monthly, quarterly and annual planning and budgeting processes based on existing and new partner feedback.

Requirements

  • 1 year experience leading teams
  • 7 years of industry experience; CPG and sales experience preferred
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong sales acumen and a proven self-starter mindset
  • Demonstrated high level of initiative and organization, with the ability to be resilient and adaptable
  • Ability to communicate advertising and technology functions effectively, verbally and in writing (including comfort with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office)
  • Prior experience working in CPG, market research, retail, advertising or marketing technology, consulting, agency or software and technology
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Willingness to travel 50%+ of the time.
