About the role

  • Business Development Executive responsible for sales growth in the Iraq OIL&GAS sector. Conducting market research and establishing relationships with potential clients in Baghdad and Basra.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities, create mapping for potential projects and clients and evaluate customer needs.
  • Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, face to face meeting and social media.
  • Setting up meetings with potential clients and listening to their needs and requirements, wishes and concerns.
  • Connecting with all private and public sectors for the purpose of introducing the services, registration and gaining licenses.
  • In charge of identifying opportunities and defined Commercial Action Plan
  • Prospect visits, contacts follow-up, quotation, contract negotiation and operations follow-up (client satisfaction)
  • Directly in charge of proposals, cooperation with operation team for smooth implementation.
  • Marketing campaigns and support; mailing, commercial meeting organization, folder printout
  • Internal support for preparing marketing information, presentations, letters, references and help to build network (references, CVs, best practices, CRM tool reports . . .), Market studies: gathers and analyses commercial information, recommendations to BU Managers
  • Other responsibilities might be assigned according to business’s needs.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in sales within Iraq market
  • Preferably in OIL&GAS industry
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Arabic and English language.
