About the role

  • Business Development Professional driving market strategy and client engagement for Data Center growth. Leading initiatives in product management and business development for industrial solutions in China.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees new account development within an established geographic territory/product line.
  • Advises on connecting, contacting, and engaging new potential clients and prospects.
  • Leads a strong and consistent pipeline of new business.
  • Oversees customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services
  • Innovates and create sales skills and knowledge of the organization's products, services and customers
  • Oversees implementing efficiency opportunities such as distributor dashboards, etc.
  • Lead market intelligence and strategic analysis for the data center vertical, including customer segmentation, competitor mapping, and trend forecasting
  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies for data center-related products/solutions (e.g., cooling, connectivity)
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders across hyperscale, colocation providers, integrators, and OEMs
  • Build strong pipeline of new business opportunities and drive early-stage customer engagement
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and regional teams to align market needs with internal capabilities
  • Prepare executive-level reports, business cases, and strategic presentations for internal and external audiences.

Requirements

  • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
  • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
  • Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
  • Bachelor’s degree or above; MBA or relevant master’s degree is a plus
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, strategic marketing, or consulting within the data center, IT data infrastructure, or industrial solutions space
  • Deep knowledge of data center ecosystem, including key players, technologies, and pain points
  • Proven track record of independently driving new business initiatives from strategy to execution(0-1)
  • Strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and strategic planning skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Mandarin
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel; strong reporting and storytelling abilities
  • Aggressive, proactive, and comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
