Responsibilities
Research and identify potential customers using tools like LinkedIn, CRM systems, and sales databases
Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social outreach to engage prospects
Qualify leads based on defined criteria before passing them to the BDM team
Set up introductory / discovery meetings with new prospects for AM’s
Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM
Review Frameworks for suitable tenders to review and bid for
Collaborate with sales and marketing to optimise outreach campaigns and messaging
Stay up to date on industry trends and competitors
Requirements
12 months experience in a SDR customer-facing role (cyber services industry preferred)
An understanding of B2B sales
Passion for sales and interest in building a career in business development
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Highly organized and self-motivated with a proactive mindset
Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently
Comfortable making cold calls and handling objections
Experience using CRM and sales analytics platforms
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
Desirable An understanding of B2B cyber security sales
An understanding of the cyber threat landscape
An understanding of cyber services markets e.g. Penetration Testing, Red Team/Purple Team, Adversary Simulation)
