About the role

  • Account Executive managing health & welfare employee benefits for clients. Interacts daily with clients and vendors, ensuring compliance and strategy execution.

Responsibilities

  • Interacts with clients on a day-to-day basis
  • Develops and maintains relationships with clients and carriers
  • Researches and analyzes medical, life, disability and other benefit plans
  • Acts as the benefit expert to clients
  • Manages a book of business of approximately $1,000,000+
  • Keeps clients apprised of appropriate industry trends
  • Proactively anticipates client needs
  • Manages request for proposals and renewals
  • Reviews work and provides feedback to team members

Requirements

  • BA/BS preferred
  • 5+ years of health & welfare experience
  • Client-facing experience in the employee benefit industry
  • Technical knowledge of benefits administration
  • Life, Accident and Health Insurance License required
