About the role

  • Account Executive responsible for cultivating relationships and enhancing customer satisfaction with Duke Energy’s major clients. Collaborating internally to drive business objectives and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Managing strategic issues and cultivating relationships with Duke Energy’s largest commercial and industrial customers
  • Enhancing customer satisfaction and strengthening key external partnerships
  • Identifying opportunities to grow earnings
  • Collaborating with internal teams to develop strategies supporting business objectives
  • Managing the sales process from needs assessment through solution delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree AND five (5) years minimum required related experience
  • High School/GED AND nine (9) years minimum required related experience in lieu of degree/s.
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Certified Energy Manager preferred
  • Professional Engineer preferred
  • Experience managing relationships with large and complex customers and/or key stakeholders
  • Ability to develop results-oriented business relationships to influence outcomes
