Business Development Manager focusing on customer prospecting in the DACH market for Pliant's fintech solutions. Establishing relationships in the fintech space and collaborating for growth.
Responsibilities
Conduct discovery calls, product demos, and close inbound partner leads
Develop and document best practices for acquiring and retaining customers in the DACH market
Own and proactively manage outreach to potential customers, building a strong sales pipeline
Understand contacts’ needs and challenges; ask insightful questions and listen carefully to meet customers where they are
Put yourself in the customer’s shoes and identify how Pliant can deliver maximum value to them
Requirements
2–4 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry in a customer-facing role
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, especially for engaging inbound partner leads; willingness to perform outbound outreach when ready
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
Strong desire to learn and grow your career in a fast-paced fintech environment
Fluent in German; fluent English is required; additional European languages (particularly Dutch) are a plus but not required
