About the role

  • Business Development Manager driving growth in secure video collaboration solutions for defence organizations in Europe. Building strategic relationships and navigating procurement processes within the sector.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive adoption of secure video collaboration solutions within European defence organizations.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging market intelligence and existing networks.
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders across defence procurement, program teams, and system integrators.
  • Navigate complex procurement cycles and acquisition frameworks in highly regulated environments.
  • Collaborate internally with product and engineering teams to align solutions with defence program requirements.
  • Represent Pexip at industry events, trade shows, and defence technology forums to strengthen brand presence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales or business development within the defence sector, ideally focused on technology or secure communications.
  • Deep understanding of defence procurement processes and key decision-makers within MoDs and defence primes.
  • Proven track record of managing complex deals and navigating long sales cycles.
  • Knowledge of defence specific solutions, secure video collaboration technologies, cyber security principles, or adjacent ICT solutions.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain national/NATO security clearance (Secret or higher preferred).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
