About the role

  • Regional People Partner driving initiatives for coworker well-being at PG&E. Aligning HR practices with business objectives to foster an innovative workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated regions and business units.
  • Formulate partnerships across the People function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
  • Provide advice and counsel to coworkers and leaders.
  • Lead People program delivery including Performance Management, Pay Planning, Succession Planning, with a focus on Employee Relations and Labor Relations.
  • Collaborate with leaders to align practices with business goals and foster a culture of innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related or equivalent work experience
  • 6 years of HR and/or HR generalist experience
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel as required within the PG&E service territory
  • Demonstrated experience working with senior company leaders, including demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence leaders at the executive level.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain unescorted access at the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant. This requires an extensive background check, drug and alcohol screening, a psychological screening, and computer-based training. This position will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing on an ongoing basis as a condition of maintaining access.
