About the role

  • Principal HRIS Analyst driving HR tech solutions by configuring Workday. Engaging with HR and business leaders for process innovation and data safeguarding.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design, testing, implementation, and administration of the Workday Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and other HR technologies
  • Maintain proper change management documentation to satisfy the company’s internal/external audit controls and compliance practices
  • Support twice-annual upgrades and annual HCM processes, such as performance, calibration, and compensation review
  • Maintain day-to-day HRIS operations across the modules to support system governance and performance
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the business and end users via cases and tickets logged in Workday Help and the Request framework
  • Proactively monitor new features released by Workday and advocate for appropriate adoption plans
  • Triage, diagnose, and resolve issues originating from end-users, business process events, and integration events
  • Lead and manage assigned projects: plan, design, build, test, release, learn
  • Create and maintain end-user training documentation
  • Act as subject matter expert for system enhancements

Requirements

  • 4+ years hands-on configuration experience in two or more modules in addition to core HCM
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and data analysis skills
  • Highly proficient in creating and editing business processes, custom reports and dashboards
  • Ability to quickly assimilate to new projects or information and stay organized throughout multiple priorities
  • Able to write technical matters clearly and verbally restate complex issues in an effective manner for the audience
  • Exceptional leadership, mentorship and communication skills to collaborate and guide users and project team members
  • Demonstrate priority setting, business acumen, project planning and composure under pressure
  • Workday PRO Certified (Preferred)
  • Ability to create BIRT, composite and trended reports (Preferred)
  • Prior module and/or full system implementation experience (Preferred)
