Sales Manager responsible for managing relationships and developing sales in the energy sector. Driving profitable projects and technical solutions collaboratively with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
You manage business relationships with internal and external stakeholders from initial contact through contract signing.
You proactively maintain relationships within the organization and ensure close coordination with relevant departments.
You oversee sales processes to prepare clear technical and commercial proposals for customers.
You develop technical and commercial solutions to improve profitability, for example by selecting the optimal turbine.
You identify technical market requirements and trends and translate them into concrete sales approaches.
After contract award, you prepare all relevant documentation for handover to project management.
You perform additional tasks as required by the role.
Requirements
At least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable sales role.
Commercial or technical qualification, ideally with strong business acumen.
An MBA or additional business qualification and experience in mechanical engineering, the energy sector, or capital goods are advantageous.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Leadership skills and the ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration.
High self-motivation, integrity, and a reliable work ethic.
Results orientation, strategic and analytical thinking, and willingness to work in small, flexible teams.
Fluent German and English language skills.
