Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) responsible for translating complex business requirements into technical specifications.
- Lead discovery workshops with diverse business units to gather, document, and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements.
- Partner with Data Architects to define product hierarchies, attributes, and taxonomies.
- Document and maintain complex business logic, validation rules, and transformation requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive data mapping documents.
- Perform detailed gap analysis to identify necessary configuration changes or process adaptations.
- Identify anomalies, duplicates, and quality issues prior to migration.
- Translate business requirements into detailed User Stories and Acceptance Criteria in an Agile environment.
- Support the creation of the functional test plan for migration waves and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years specifically within Data Management (MDM), Product Information Management (PIM), or large-scale Data Warehouse projects.
- Proven ability to deconstruct complex legacy processes and re-engineer them for a modern data architecture.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical constraints to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
