About the role

  • Ensure proper support in all steps of the employee life cycle from onboarding to termination
  • Provide support and smooth management of global HR processes such as performance evaluation and compensation/promotion
  • Manage employee relations issues, including partnering with Employee Relations and/or Employment Law
  • Advise clients on the resolution of employee relations and performance management issues
  • Partner with multiple HR functions such as Recruiting, Learning and Development
  • Manage and coordinate international transfers into and out of Canada

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience as a HR Generalist
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law or equivalent
  • Strong client focus with outstanding judgement, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Team-oriented with strong influencing skills and demonstrated ability or aptitude for team leadership
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and in French
  • Ability to deal with uncertainties of an evolving, dynamic organization
  • Capability to manage difficult conversations and stressful situations
