Responsibilities
Provide support to the Human Resources Manager in all HR-related functions
Ensure smooth and efficient HR operations and expert guidance on HR policies and procedures
Assist in employee relations and building communication channels
Ensure equitable application of company policies and practices
Investigate and address disagreements in a timely and impartial manner
Partner with department managers for seasonal staffing needs
Collaborate in opening and managing hourly employee requisitions
Facilitate new hire orientation
Assist site managers with processing and administering leave benefits
Manage employee records ensuring they are accurate and secure
Requirements
2+ years of experience in employee relations or related experience
Bachelor's degree in HR or related field or relevant equitable experience
Ability to work onsite
Must be able to work a flexible event driven schedule which frequently includes evenings, nights, weekends and/or holidays
SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
Experience as an HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, or similar role
Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, tactfully, and diplomatically in English; additional languages a plus
Ability to influence others on policies, practices, and procedure
Ability to understand and maintain compliance with relevant federal, state and local employment laws
Ability to handle sensitive and highly personal information daily and maintain confidentiality
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with case management technology preferred
