About the role

  • Client Manager at Marsh McLennan Agency managing employee health & benefits for clients. Ensure clients' welfare benefit plans meet their needs and goals with significant independence.

Responsibilities

  • Actively manage a book of business to ensure each client’s welfare benefit plan needs and goals are met
  • Work is initially closely reviewed with VP or SVPs / assigned Partners to ensure a high quality and timely work product
  • Transition to significant independence in this position
  • Utilize resources to provide clear, concise and accurate information and guidance to clients
  • Motivate others inside and outside of the firm to accomplish goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in the welfare benefit plan industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of group insurance (medical, dental, vision, life and disability products) desired
  • Effective relationship-building and public speaking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Ability to use available resources and apply critical thinking skills to research regulatory issues
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure and multi-task
  • Must be able to work independently and be detailed, organized and resourceful
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook preferred
  • Experience with Publisher a plus
