About the role

  • Manage relationships with Pepperstone's most valuable clients while providing tailored solutions. Focus on retention, sales targets, and enhancing client trading experiences with strong support.

Responsibilities

  • Developing relationships through various channels with Pepperstone’s Premium Client Group to impact their longevity at volume thresholds
  • Using own industry sources and various external channels to build strong relationships and seek more referrals and trading volumes
  • Consistently securing and growing premium clients by demonstrating a clear point of difference in experience, market knowledge and personal focus over the competition
  • Achieving sales targets
  • Actively contributing to the premium team and assisting in helping others in the team develop
  • Being a trusted adviser to premium clients on market and trading relating matters
  • Maintaining client interest in trading markets through regular dissemination of market analysis and trade opportunities
  • Assisting in planning and executing client events with as required
  • Collaborating with key internal departments, particularly marketing, operations, risk, and development teams to gain support for projects and deliver needed support
  • Assisting in planning and executing client events with as required
  • Assisting in the organisation of quarterly premium events ranging from sporting events to conferences
  • Meeting clients face to face and attending luxury Premium Client Events to build and nurtuer client relationships

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in a phone sales environment
  • Previous experience as an account manager and/or dealing with high net worth clients
  • Understanding of financial markets, financial investments, and detailed understanding of various trading strategies
  • RG146 Financial Services General Advice qualification
  • Experience with MetaTrader 4 and cTrader software
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or similar (highly regarded)
  • Excellent collaboration skills, ability to work as part of a team
  • Proactive attitude and uncompromising ability to put the client first
  • Excellent relationship building, customer service and influencing skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills that allow you to negotiate, resolve conflict and overcome challenges
  • Sound decision making and critical thinking
  • Ability to acquire new knowledge and skills quickly and an interest in and ability to coach others
  • Proficient numerical ability; be comfortable working with numbers
  • Ability to manage and proactively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to travel throughout Australia (and overseas ad hoc) as required
