Senior Employee Relations Advisor providing expertise across all Metcash sites in Australia. Supporting leaders on complex employee relations matters from performance to grievance management.
Responsibilities
Manage complex employee relations cases end to end, including performance, misconduct, grievances and investigations.
Coach and support leaders to build confidence and capability in managing ER matters.
Provide practical, compliant advice aligned to legislation, industrial instruments and policy.
Assess risk and escalate complex issues, including tribunal preparation and representation.
Identify trends and improvement opportunities to reduce future ER issues.
Contribute to ER frameworks, tools and projects across the business.
Requirements
Experience in an Employee Relations or similar advisory role
Proven ability to manage complex, end to end ER cases (performance, misconduct, absence and investigations)
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Ability to coach and support leaders on ER matters
Experience influencing stakeholders at all levels and building strong working relationships
