About the role

  • Intern supporting HR team with Employee Relations tasks at Rakuten. Provide administrative support, assist in conflict resolution, and help develop tools for engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Employee Relations (ER) team.
  • Creation of new job aids, manuals, and tools.
  • Assist in the maintenance of confidential employee documentation for current files.
  • Develop a new organizational system.
  • Utilize AI tools and Excel for data analysis and reporting on ER metrics and goals.
  • Assist in production for ER presentations and training sessions.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer skills.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their applications in HR.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.
