Key Account Manager managing enterprise accounts for Malt, Europe's leading freelance marketplace. Responsible for activating new business within a dedicated portfolio of accounts.
Responsibilities
Prioritize and manage a portfolio of 50–80 enterprise accounts, using a data-driven approach to focus on accounts with the strongest alignment to the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
Execute high-volume, multi-channel prospecting to identify and generate new client opportunities across your assigned accounts.
Drive the full sales cycle: conduct effective discovery to uncover core business pains and deliver tailored product demos for local use cases.
Lead negotiations for standard and mid-complexity deals, applying concession rules from available playbooks to secure profitable growth.
Maintain CRM excellence by accurately logging all activities and keeping MEDDIC fields up to date to ensure high data quality and reliable forecasting.
Identify growth potential by qualifying accounts that are ready for large-scale enterprise expansion or international development.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Admin, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure smooth deal preparation and successful project kick-offs.
Requirements
Business school degree or equivalent
Initial experience in account management or sales, demonstrating the ability to handle high-volume tactical execution
Strong command of the MEDDIC methodology and proven ability to manage a sales pipeline through defined stages
Native-level French and full professional proficiency in English
Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce) to log activities accurately and efficiently
