Responsibilities
Act as the primary HR Partner for an APS area with multiple sites that are critical to the APS business.
Provide day to day support for client group Leaders, and Colleagues on organizational and employee matters, as well as coaching, employee retention and engagement, site culture, and other HR processes and site activities.
Partner with client leaders and colleagues to support and execute both long-term and short-term HR strategies that directly enable the APS business’s objectives.
Provide strategic coaching to key talent in client group as it pertains to succession planning, career path development, and performance management.
Drive efficiency and consistency across all functions within the site to improve the culture and employee engagement.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or a combination of a High School Diploma and 7 years of progressive experience in HR roles.
Minimum of 5 years professional work in the Human Resources function with client-facing responsibilities including employee/people leader development and performance management.
Travel is required up to 35% of the time to provide HR support to designated area in multiple locations that requires on site presence.
HR generalist experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Employee Relations experience is highly preferred.
Strong judgment ensuring integrity, compliance, and confidentiality.
Solid understanding of local labor laws and government requirements.
