Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and coordinate administrative practices to support case management
Manage multiple, competing deadlines across Regulatory Services
Perform a broad range of administrative and operational tasks
Triage communications and respond to inquiries
Manage inventory and records and maintain files
Conduct legal searches and prepare meeting minutes
Assist with hearings and practice recoveries
Requirements
Completion of a 2 year college program in Legal Administration or related discipline
Minimum of 3 years’ experience providing legal administrative support in a legal or professional regulatory environment
Experience with litigation is an advantage
Professional knowledge of legal office practice, terminology, and procedures
Verbal and written communication in French is an asset
Valid class “G” driver’s license is an asset
Technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite / 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience with case management systems and database applications
Requires a typing speed of 60 error-free words per minute and experience with dicta-typing
