About the role

  • Administrative Assistant II providing complex administrative support for operations, corporate services, or sales at CNA. Collaborating and resolving sensitive issues while managing correspondence and scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Performs complex administrative support on day to day operational matters.
  • Interacts and resolves sensitive and confidential issues.
  • Acts as liaison between management and other business units.
  • Assists in the coordination of organizational administration activities.
  • Drafts, prepares, and distributes correspondence, memos, and other documents.
  • Schedules and coordinates meetings, conferences, travel arrangements, maintains calendars.
  • Prepares, processes, and may submit reports including timekeeping.

Requirements

  • Some college with course work in Marketing, Business, Accounting, etc. desirable.
  • Typically a minimum four years strong administrative experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including professional phone etiquette.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external business partners and staff at all levels.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and other business related software systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills including ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks.
  • Overall general knowledge of the insurance industry and the business units.
