Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with Polish and cross-border business leaders to understand organizational objectives and align HR strategies to support these goals. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance team effectiveness, workforce planning, and overall business performance, with a specific focus on the unique needs of both Polish and Ukrainian workforce members.
Employee Relations: Act as the primary HR contact for employees and managers on HR-related issues, including resolving complex employee relations matters, mediating conflicts, and ensuring the fair and consistent application of company policies. Promote open communication channels that address both Polish and Ukrainian colleague bases.
Performance Management: Guide managers through the performance review process, supporting them on OKR setting, feedback and development conversations, and improvement plans. Drive performance management initiatives that build a high-performance culture, with particular attention to the motivation and retention of technology talent.
Learning & Development: Identify and address specific training needs within business units, collaborating with the HR team to create and implement programs that enhance technical skills and career development. Encourage growth initiatives that align with talent market expectations.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Use HR analytics and metrics to provide insights on workforce trends, turnover, and other key indicators, particularly focusing on cross-border workforce dynamics. Generate reports and presentations that support data-driven decision-making in a rapidly evolving technology environment.
Compliance & Policy Development: Ensure full compliance with Ukrainian and Polish labour laws and any cross-border legal requirements for Ukrainian employees working within Poland. Collaborate on the development and adaptation of policies, educating managers and employees on HR policies and best practices, and aligning these with both local and regional standards.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a Business Partner or similar role, ideally within the technology sector. Direct experience supporting or managing Ukrainian workforces is highly valued.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels and across cultures.
Proficiency in HRIS and data analysis tools.
Knowledge of Polish employment law and familiarity with Ukrainian labor market dynamics.
Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality.
